By the way, I've never read Marching Through Peachtrees. I used it as an example of "Turtledove going wrong" because the cover makes it look ridiculous. But, judging a book by its cover is a mistake, as the cover from "Walk in Hell" depicting a tank driving next to a fallen Statue of Liberty can attest.
