Owner Build Introduction | How to Do an Owner Build

Hey all!  This is the first video in a series we will be doing about the different steps of building your own home as an owner-builder.  The series will be focused on helping you see what steps you need to take to build your home.  We're planning on covering a lot of different topics, such as getting your building permit, getting bids from subcontractors, things to watch out for in framing, among many other topics through getting your certificate of occupancy.

We built our own home as owner-builders.  We broke ground in January of 2020 and moved in to our home in July of the same year.  We loved building our own home!  We've had a lot of different people ask us questions about the process when they found out that we did it ourselves, so we thought we could try and help more people out who have the same questions by putting a series together on YouTube.

Be sure to subscribe to be notified of when we post our next video.  We normally do videos on projects that we make and tools that we use, so don't panic if you see us doing more of those videos.
