MINIONS, MINIONS, MINIONS ! Finally, it’s time! The Minions movie is coming out next week! EVERYONE loves MINIONS, young, old, men women, boys, girls, blah blah blah! So why not make Minion Bath Bombs! This DIY Minion Bath bomb is so fun and a perfect Minion craft! It is skin safe and can be customizable. You can change the minion colors, change it to a minion girl. You can even change the smell of these minion bath bombs to anything! Make sure you get a fragrance oil that is safe for the skin. There’s so many kinds such as bubblegum, watermelon, cookie dough! Make minion bath bombs smell like anything.
Who doesn't love the fizziness, relaxing smell and bubbly sensation of bath bombs in the tub! This tutorial is super fun and easy! Tune in at the end for the DIY Minion bath bomb demonstration! The colors are unreal!!
This Minion Bath bomb recipe will make 2 bath bombs. If you want to make more then you can double or triple, or quadruple the recipe - watch the video for the amount !
D R Y I N G R E D I E N T S
→ Baking Soda
→ Citric Acid *try cream of tartar or lemon juice -but I bought mine from a spice store, or they sell this at Wal-mart in the U.S.A as well, I've heard. Try a health food store as well.
→ Corn starch
WET I N G R E D I E N T S
→ Essential oil/Fragrance oil : be sure to find something that is skin safe. Most essential oils are great , but don’t put too much !
→ Water – better to have it in a spray bottle
→ Food colouring : I used the neon pack which has the blue and yellow! Customize it to whatever colour you like! If you are wondering if the food colouring will stain your skin…it WON'T ! It's only a small content and it is already broken up with the rest of the ingredients, so you're good to go. Just wear some gloves when mixing so you won't get it on your hands.
T E X T U R E
These minions bath bombs should be have a wet sand like texture. You don’t want it to have too much wáter though, because it will start to react. If the powder is somewhat wet, then it should be good to go!
If it doesn't clump together, add a little more liquid-whether that's more oil or wáter.
If your bath bomb expands when it is dry, that means that there was too much liquid !
Don't forgot to USE GLOVES if you are making these as gifts ! It will also leave your hands cleaner !
