Repairing a induction charged Night Light

This rechargeable night light and torch was not charging the battery. After investigation I discovered the charging circuit in the mains part, the rather crude oscillator had a resistor burnt out. I researched the item and found several references to similar units and the burnt out resistor. Here's where I found out most of the information.

Replacing the resistor fixed the unit as no other components were found to be faulty.
