Layers, contrast and good pencil technique all contribute to creating photo realistic drawings. All of the techniques that are required for drawing this Butterfly can then be transferred to projects and tutorials of animals with fur. Using various erasers help to create a range of effects which are just as important as the use of pencils themselves.
