A day living the Isaan village lifestyle. Life in North East Thailand vlog series. Building a house with your Thai partner in a small village in Thailand is not such an uncommon retirement plan. I see many Westerners on YouTube who have chosen to retire this way. Here is my first vlog living a basic village life in the Isaan region of Thailand. The village doesn't necessarily have to be basic, some retired expats have built what are essentially mansions in a village such as this but it is more common to see your average Westerner embracing a more simple life and enjoying the rewarding nature of living this way.
