This Excel tutorial will help you understand how to subtract columns in a Pivot Table.

👉 Step 1: Find Subtraction in the Menu
To subtract a column from another, in this tutorial, we'll be subtracting the "Cost of Deduction" from the "Sum of Personal Cost." First, go to Pivot Table Analyze - Field, Items & Sets - Calculated Field.
This will open the formula modal, allowing you to input the necessary details.

👉 Step 2: Subtraction Method
After you have selected the columns in your Pivot Table that you want to subtract in your formula and added the minus sign, a new column will be displayed as the result.
