Trapezoidal Steel Sheet Roof, 10 degrees
Estimated Performance: 20,739 kWh/units
Estimated Return on Investment : 17.8 % - 5.6 years
Warranties: 5 year workmanship defects, 5 years inverter, 25 years solar panel performance at greater than eighty percent efficiency.
Background:
To help to pursue their green Agenda at their recently refurbished HQ in Uxbridge, it was pre-determined that there would be Electric Vehicle points in the car park. Coca Cola sought our expert advice of on the matter.
We set to work with IDL Coatings to start the design and construction of the carport. It was quickly decided that the most cost effective way to fix the panels to the carport would be to use K2 Mounting Systems new Mini Rail, which is easy to fix, lightweight, avoids the use of moving long lengths of rail around the site as well as being very cost effective.
Chosen for the job were 94 Trina Solar Honey Modules, selected for their excellent low light performance, coupled with Swiss built SolarMax Inverters, known for their quality and excellence and high efficiency.
