Special ITV News Central programme as Rolls Royce announces 4,600 job losses | ITV News

There had been speculation for days the cuts were coming, but this morning at 7 o'clock it was confirmed.

Rolls Royce is Derby's biggest employer - around 16,000 people work there.

The firm says the job losses are vital for its future and the axe will fall on back office staff and middle managers
