Bangladesh Air Force Shaheen College, or BAF Shaheen College, is a privatised educational institution run by the Bangladesh Air Force in different airbases around Bangladesh. It has the largest primary, the secondary and higher secondary student population in Bangladesh.Bangladesh Air Force Shaheen College, Dhaka. BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola was established in 1972 as 'BAF High School'. The school was renamed as 'BAF Shaheen School' in 1980. Higher Secondary School Certificate course was introduced in the school from 1982 and then it was named as 'BAF Shaheen School and College'. In 1986 it was again renamed as 'BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola'. Students are taught from KG to XII classes in a coeducation environment
বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনীর প্রত্যক্ষ তত্ত্বাবধানে ও সুযোগ্য নেতৃত্বে পরিচালিত বি এ এফ শাহীন কলেজ কুর্মিটোলা-সুনির্মল প্রকৃতির অকৃত্রিম স্নেহছায়া আর পাখ-পাখালির কলকাকলি মুখর অনাবিল মনোরম পরিবেশে আপন মহিমায় সমুজ্জ্বল এক আদর্শ অনাবাসিক শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান। নগরীর কোলাহল থেকে দূরে ধূলি, ধোঁয়া ও শ্বাসরুদ্ধকর পরিবেশের বাইরে অফুরন্ত প্রাণময়তায় শিক্ষার্থীরা এখানে শিক্ষা গ্রহণের সুযোগ পায়। গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় এবং মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বোর্ড, ঢাকার অধীনে এটি বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী কর্তৃক পরিচালিত। এটির পরিচালনায় রয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনীর দক্ষ পরিচালনা পরিষদ, অভিজ্ঞ অধ্যক্ষ, প্রাজ্ঞ শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকামন্ডলী ও কর্মচারীবৃন্দ- যাদের নিরলস প্রচেষ্টায় বিদ্যাপীঠটির সুনাম উত্তরোত্তর বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।
