resistors in a spark plug decrease the amount of current that's allowed to flow to the electrode. By using a non resistor plug  will significantly increase the voltage and current across the ground and Electrode there for creating a much hotter more intense Spark. BUT too much voltage may harm the electronic system or even the ECU, on the event of voltage leak.
