Acrylic plastics are typically tough, clear and resistant to breaking and bending. Major characteristics of acrylic include heat and oil resistance. Acrylic can endure temperatures of 170 ~ 180℃ under dry heat or in oil. Acrylic is used mainly for oil seals and packaging related to automobiles.
Other lessons in this course include:
PC Polycarbonate
PP Polypropylene
PE Polyethylene
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
Nylon(s)
PS (General Purpose Polystyrene)
PMMA Acrylics (Polymethylmethalcrylate)
POM (Acetal and Acetal Copolymers)
PBT and Alloys (Polyester)
TPE/TPO
