Prawns pickle is very famous, tasty and is best to serve with boiled rice, chappathi. Try it out. Ingredients: To marinate: Cleaned deshelled Prawns- 250g Turmeric powder- 1tsp Pepper powder - 2tsp Salt- to taste To cook: Coconut oil - to fry Ginger - 2 Nos crushed Garlic - 2 inches crushed Green chilly - 2 Nos chopped Curry leaves - as required Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Kashmiri chilly powder - 2 tbsp Fenugreek powder - 1/4tsp Salt- to taste Vinegar - 1/4 cup(if required, optional) Sugar - 1/4 tsp Steps: 1) Marinate the cleaned deshelled prawns with pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt. Keep aside for 10min. 2) Pour some coconut oil in a pan and fry the marinated prawns and get it 75% cooked. Take off from the stove and keep aside. 3) Pour some more coconut oil into the pan. 4) Put in the crushed garlic and ginger, then chopped green chilly and curry leaves and stir well. 5) When the raw smell goes off, put the masala powders turmeric powder, chilly powder, fenugreek powder. Keep it in low flame, to not get the mix over cooked. 6) Add the fried prawns and stir for getting the masala well coated in the prawns. 7) Add the vinegar(if required means, you are planning to use the pickle more than 3 days) and then add sugar for getting the taste balanced.
