My Vacuum is Shocking Me! Reversed Polarity Outlet

My vacuum is shocking me! What a shocking experience! What the heck could possibly be wrong with it? Well turns out nothing but a reversed polarity outlet! With a reversed polarity out the Neutral is hot instead of the hot wire, which results in the casing of the vacuum being hot instead of neutral.
