Small business owners take action over pending federal regulations that may impact access to capital

According to the National Federation of Independent Business, sentiment for small businesses in the US fell due to issues with labor and economic headwinds. In addition, according to Goldman Sachs' small business survey, a credit crunch is becoming another problem for business owners. Goldman Sachs issued a memo Thursday to congressional campaigns, warning that pending regulations could hurt small businesses and prevent them from accessing needed capital.
Goldman Sachs Government Affairs Managing Director Joe Wall and Dell-Lea Weddings & Events Owner Toutou Marsden join Yahoo Finance to discuss their trip to Washington DC, along with several other business owners, to meet with Congress to present their case against tightening federal financial regulations.
Marsden explains some of the challenges her business faces: "When we go and get a loan, when there is less capital for us to access, that's really going to put a hinder on our growth and what we need to do in the projects that we have at hand... If we don't have access to the money in order to grow our business then... it could be dire, there could be businesses that could close down forever."
