Audi TT 1.8t sump and pick up pipe removal

Quick guide on removing the sump and pick up pipe, and reinstalling those 2 tricky bolts. If the car is new to you, instead of just an oil change, I recommend removing the sump, cleaning the sump, and cleaning or replacing the pickup pipe. The sludge builds up over the years and can cause the red oil warning light. When the red oil light comes on, its not usually at a good time for you to turn the engine off, but continuing to drive will kill your engine! Use this preventative measure to keep your engine healthy.
