Exterior Light Box Install on Hardie Siding

Install rough electrical on Hardie lap siding for exterior light. This is on my well house. All exterior wall penetrations are boxed on Hardie trim, flashed on top, and Tyvek taped and caulked to seal out moisture.

I did not want to splice two Hardie trim pieces for the exterior light. So, I sandwiched three 5" X 5" pieces of siding with RTV that is Hardie approved. Then cut the hole out for the round box.
