To make soft buns:
Warm milk – 200 g
Sugar – 110 g
Vanilla sugar – 20 g
Salt – 1 tsp. no slide
Egg – 1 pc.
Butter – 70 g
Flour – about 400-450 g
Dry instant yeast – 5 g
Yolk and a little milk for greasing the buns

1. Add dry yeast, a little sugar and flour from the total amount to warm milk. Mix well. Cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 10-20 minutes. During this time, the dough should grow well.
2. Add sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, egg. Mix. Add flour in parts, kneading a soft and elastic dough. At the end, add room temperature butter and mix it into the dough. Knead the dough until smooth for 10 minutes.
3. Place the dough in a bowl, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for about 1 hour to rise.
4. Punch down the dough. Divide into 9 parts weighing about 90 g each. Round each piece into a ball. Place in a mold greased with butter. The size of the mold is 23 cm by 23 cm. Cover with cling film and let the buns rise. The time for the buns to rise depends on the room temperature and can take from 30 to 60 minutes.
5. Very carefully brush the buns with yolk mixed with milk so as not to precipitate the buns.
6. Bake for about 18-20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180.
7. Transfer the finished buns to a wire rack and let cool to room temperature.
