The Williamson brothers had exactly $167 to their names when they opened their first barbecue pit in Marietta. Now, with three Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q locations open across Atlanta, and their bottled BBQ sauces flying off shelves nationwide, it's pretty clear that these brothers are doing okay these days. Guess that's what happens when you bring authentic barbecue to one of the best restaurant cities in the world! Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q has it all: appetizers and sides that would make grandma giddy; platters and sandwiches piled high with smoked-onsite meats; to-die-for desserts; the best barbecue and steak sauces in the South; and catering services that bring the Bar-B-Q to you. While everything on the menu at Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q is uber authentic, the pièce de résistance is by far the pulled pork. Perfectly moist and with juuuust enough bite, the BBQ pulled pork comes on a platter with two sides (we went with their Mac n' Cheese and Fried Okra) or on a sandwich. With the pulled pork being, well, perfect, you can only imagine what their Brunswick Stew tastes like. Made with a rich tomato base, corn, onions, spices, and -- of course -- pulled pork, this stew is another surefire satisfier. There's no shortage of barbecue joints in Atlanta. But there's only one (well, three...) Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q locations. Give them a go and give up bad barbecue...for good.
