Arshad Rai, a member of the notable Bhatti Rajput family of village Mari Buchian, Tehsil Batala, District Gurdaspur left his village in 1947 at the time of India Pakistan partition. He is the eyewitness of all events that took place in his ancestral village. Here is he is narrating the story of partition-based migration.
