How To: Fixing Air Locked Diesel Tractor Yanmar YM2000 Won't Start , Air in the Lines From No Fuel

If I see a learning moment I try to document it so here's the latest ordeal. I am getting hunt camp cleaned up and ready for opening weekend of Dove season in VA. I didn't check the tank like you always should, tried to fire up my old Yanmar YM2000 tractor, and the fuel tank is empty from a leak. This added air to the lines and caused the injectors to airlock. That means step by step bleeding of the fuel system. Luckily this is a very old (70s) tractor so it's really easy to work on but this holds true for most diesels whether marine, auto , or tractor.  This video will talk you thru the process you need to get your tractor back up and running.
