Yo!!! What's up, dudes?!?! So
Yo!!! What's up, dudes?!?! So I finally got the new Duncans in my Ibanez s470. This is the Seymour Duncan JB (SH-4) in the bridge, the Custom Stack Plus (STK-S6) in the middle, and the Jazz (SH-2) in the neck. The improvement over the stock Ibanez pickups is huge. These are much fuller, with more bite and sustain. With a little work I could get multiple splitting situations. These are put in stock, with all coils functioning. The "single coil" in the middle is actually a dual-coil stack, so that keeps the hum to a minimum. And because it's able to be coil cut, I can match it up with either humbucker's coil and make a humbucker set using the two coils.
I'm running TH2 by Overloud for the software. I start with and XTC patch and switch to a couple of clean Blackface patches. Then I stop at a full-tilt Plexi for a little bit and end back at an XTC patch (based on the Bogner Ecstasy amp).
Enjoy!
