Frank Darabont is one of the most talented writers and directors in town but seems to be having a rough time recently. The man behind The Shawshank Redemption, The Mist, The Green Mile and one of the original people responsible for The Walking Dead should be at the top of everyone's A-list. Still, in a lot of cases, his infamous temper might have gotten the better of him, with emails that surfaced during his infamous Walking Dead lawsuit against AMC painting an unflattering portrait. Yet, it can't be denied that the man is talented, and compared to some other troubled directors out there, his record is pretty clean, so why hasn't he been given another shot given his body of work? After all, the man is responsible not only for some legit classics, but also some of the best cult movies of the eighties, including A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and The Blob remake!
