This is what I do
This is what I do before giving Isabella almost anything. It can feel cruel, but its just tough love. For her sake, she has to attempt some form of communication before being rewarded. We do some sign, PECS, and verbal. PECS is the only form she has actually made some progress in. She didn't verbalize, so in another video I prompt her to sign eat.
