Megatheropods, defined as any theropod weighing five metric tonnes or more, were the kings of prehistoric predators. Megatheropods include tyrannosuars like T.rex and Zhuchengtyrannus, but allosaurus like Saurophaganax, carcharodontosaurs like Mapusaurus, and other theropod groups also reached enormous sizes. Most megatheropods known to paleontology are included in this comprehensive list of the ultimate terrestrial predators. Dinosaur fans adore arbitrary lists of gigantic predators, and I am no exception.  Here are links to the sources I mentioned in the video and more.
