It's the work of Canadian director Denis Villeneuve, a man who, on this evidence, has a big future on both side of the border. "I removed some of the violence but I tried to portray it as ugly as possible." He talked to us about tackling the tough material, the film's reception in the Middle East and the powerful influence of Stanley Kubrick. www.empireonline.com/interviews/interview.asp?IID=… Official YouTube home of the world's biggest (and best) movie magazine and website.
