Dr. Daniel Bienstock, professor at Columbia University, shares a deeper dive into advancements in the AC Optimal Power Flow Problem and affiliated open-source packages and algorithmic enhancements in this webinar and shares the newly released Power Flow OptiMod, which is part of Gurobi's open-source Python Repository of Optimization Use Cases.

ABSTRACT: In Part 2 of this series, we will dive into more advanced material on the ACOPF problem. Power grids are rapidly evolving in response to the ramp-up in renewables and consumer-based generation and response mechanisms. During this presentation, we will describe the state-of-the-art ACOPF problem and the core technical computations in the management of power grids. We will also showcase the new OptiMod Python Use Case, which is free for learning and instruction.
