Eartha Kitt and Me! Part 6. FINALLY! They Found A Birth Certificate To Prove That At Least I Exist

After fruitless attempts to ascertain her birth date, something most of us never even think about for those of us who have one - a simple piece of bureaucratic paper that actually is one of the most important documents you will ever have as it is, quite simply, confirmation that you are officially recognised as existing, without which, life can become even more problematic.  Especially back in those days in the United States where white men fathering children to non-white women at the drop of a hat (or other items of clothing) were under no legal obligation to register themselves as the father of that child on public record. Thus not only rejecting a living, human being, 50% all theirs by the way, but also a convenient legal loophole to avoid having to pay anything towards the raising of that child. Man enough indeed... Now where did I put those castration scissors, needles and thread?
