Anarchy vs limited government - Block vs Helfeld Don't fall into the anarchist's rationalistic trap. NAP is not a starting point in ethics. It is not an ultimate end, it is a means to an end, which should be in my view a happy, satisfied life for you. If following the principle does not achieve this end, then the principle is mistaken in that context.
The non-initiation of force principle works very well under normal circumstances and as a guide to the legal system. It works well in a in a normal context - when you are not under extreme duress and there is a limited government in place . Integrate your ethics, since all political argument has to be validated against an ethical view. Ultimately what you are arguing in political theory is which theory produces more good.
