Sweet & Tangy Chicken Wings by Naush’s Kitchen

Ingredients
8 whole chicken wings (about 2 pounds)
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Sauce:
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon chili paste/sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced

Directions:
Remove the tips of the wings and discard. Use kitchen shears or a knife to separate the wings at the joint and pat dry the wings completely. In a bowl add wings, salt and black pepper and mix well. Lay out the wings on a baking rack.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Roast on the middle rack of the oven, about 20 minutes. Turn the wings over and cook 15 to 20 more minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the wings are golden brown.
While the chicken wings are roasting, combine the honey, chili paste, soy sauce, butter, lemon juice and garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until smooth and bring it to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook until the mixture has thickened, about 3-5 minutes.  Remove the wings from the oven, brush with the sauce. Return the wings to the oven and cook an additional 5 to 8 minutes or until glazed and cooked through. Toss the cooked wings to coat well and serve hot.
