THE ILLUSTRATIONS OF HOWARD PYLE HD

For many years Howard Pyle has been widely recognised as a major figure in the early development of American illustration. His reputation is based not only on his own groundbreaking work in the second half of the 19th and early years of the 20th century, but arguably just as much on the many slightly younger illustrators he taught who went on to define the early 20th century in the USA. Among them were N. C. Wyeth, Frank Schoonover, Elenore Abbott, Ethel Franklin Betts, Harvey Dunn, Thornton Oakley, Violet Oakley, Elizabeth Shippen Green, and Jessie Willcox Smith. So I think it's high time he had a video to himself.
