Past Life connections between two
Past Life connections between two people can be seen with the help of two divisional charts, the Dwadasamsa (D12) and Shastiamsa (D60). Any time someone’s South node or Ketu occupies the same sign as someone’s identity factors (Atmakaraka, Ascendant, Ascendant Lord or Moon) there is a past life connection if it is also seen in the D60 and the people have an affinity for each other or have already entered into a relationship.
The association works out more for the Ketu person, meaning the Ketu person has more of a karmic account to clear.
Identity Factors in Birth Chart (4): Ascendant, Ascendant Lord, Atmakaraka Moon.
Identity Factors in D60 (5): Ascendant, Ascendant Lord, Atmakaraka, Moon and Ascendant Lord of Birth Chart
Person A and Person B:
(A) Birth Chart Ketu conjoins (B) Birth Chart Identity Factor?
(B) Birth Chart Ketu conjoins (A) Birth Chart Identity Factor?
(A) Birth Chart Ketu conjoins (B) D60 Identity Factor?
(B) Birth Chart Ketu conjoins (A) D60 Identity Factor?
(A) D60 Ketu conjoins (B) Birth Chart Identity Factor?
(B) D60 Ketu conjoins (A) Birth Chart Identity Factor?
(A) D60 Ketu conjoins (B) D60 Identity Factor?
(B) D60 Ketu conjoins (A) D60 Identity Factor?
Add up all the connection for each person. The person whose Ketu has the most connections to the other person’s Identity Factors is the person whose Ketu you will overlay onto the other person’s D12. The D12 is the chart of Past Lives. It is also the chart of the parents and ancestral line.
What house is Ketu activating in the other person’s D12 using equal Sign/equal House?
If it’s the 2nd house – the person was a very close friend
The 3rd house – a sibling
The 4th house – the mother
The 5th house – a child
The 6th house – an enemy or competitor
The 7th house – the spouse or a lover
The 9th house – a teacher or spiritual or religious advisor
The 10th house – the father or someone in authority over the Ketu person
The 11th house – a peer or someone in their social circle (like a lady in waiting)
The 1st, 8th and 12th houses are special and are explained in the video.
How to Calculate the Dwadasamsa (D12)
Divide the Sign into equal parts of 2 and ½ degrees each. Note the part each planet or Ascendant falls within and count that many Signs from the natal Sign position of the planet or Ascendant. For example, if the Moon is at 22 degrees 47 minutes Leo, it would fall within the 10th part, counting ten from Leo we arrive at Taurus.
How to Calculate the Shastiamsa (D60):
Multiply the degrees of the planet or Ascendant in its Sign by 2 and divide by 12.
Add 1 to the remainder which will indicate the number of the Sign in the Shastiamsa.
