Ausgerüstet mit unserer Beaulieu 4800
Ausgerüstet mit unserer Beaulieu 4800 (Super 8) Kamera besuchen wir 1982 Thailand, wo in Bangkok gerade alle Tempel und Paläste für die 200-Jahrfeier auf Hochglanz poliert wurden. Eine Bootsfahrt durch die letzten Klongs (Kanäle) lässt ahnen, wie Bangkok früher aussah und ein Besuch im Freilichtmuseum "Ancient City" zeigt die Pracht der (hier nachgebauten) wichtigsten Gebäude und Heiligtümer des Landes. Beim Besuch der weltgrößten Krokodilfarm können wir eine wirklich sehr ungewöhnliche "Crocodile-Show" filmen. Dann fahren wir zum Badeurlaub nach Pattaya, wo man es auf einer vorgelagerten Koralleninsel auch mit Parasailing versuchen kann. Ein Höhepunkt ist sicher der Besuch der US-Navy, deren Kriegsschiffe vor der Küste ankern und für deren Besatzungen sich ganz Pattaya als eine große Partymeile präsentiert.----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Equipped with our Beaulieu 4800 (Super 8) camera, we visit Thailand in 1982, where all temples and palaces in Bangkok have just been polished for a shine for the celebration of the 200th anniversary. A boat trip through the last Klongs (canals) gives an idea of how Bangkok used to look like and a visit to the open-air museum "Ancient City" shows the splendor of the most important buildings and sanctuaries of the country (reproduced here). Visiting the world's largest crocodile farm we can film a really very unusual "Crocodile Show". Then we go to Pattaya for a beach vacation, you can even try parasailing on an offshore coral island. A highlight is certainly the visit of the US Navy, whose warships anchor off the coast and for whose crews whole Pattaya presents itself as a big party mile.The music is by SmartSound and includes the track "Mission Dub" by Track Tribe from the "YouTube Audio-Mediathek."
