Sketch Turner is a cartoonist working on his new project called 'The Comix Zone', which tells the story of the New World Empire's attempt to conquer Earth with the help of an alien invasion. During a stormy night, Mortus the main villain of Sketch's comic escapes and causes Sketch to be sucked into his own comic. In it he befriends Alissa Cyan, the leader of the resistance against mutants. In the Comic, Mortus will try to destroy Sketch from the real world by drawing the enemies and will try to make himself real in the process. Sketch will try to break out of his own cartoon and finally defeat Mortus.
