"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Peter 2:1). This same Spirit is the source behind the revelation of the toll-houses.

Deductive Argument For The Toll-Houses

1. God is a God of truth.
2. God revealed the toll-houses to holy men in theoria (spiritual vision).
3. Therefore, the toll-houses are true.

In a deductive argument, if the premises are true, then the conclusion follows logically and inescapably. Since the first two premises in the above argument are true, the conclusion follows. The doctrine of the toll-houses comes from God. The naturalistic hypothesis of appealing to Gnosticism as the source of the toll-houses concept is not only a causal fallacy (non causa pro causa), but it is ad hoc (contrived), and refuted by the above deductive argument, as well as on historical and textual grounds by top scholars in the book, "The Departure of the Soul." A philosopher once said, "A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence."

My article on Masonry. Masonry is essentially deistic and rejects miracles and divine revelation in history. I think our battle is really against deistic Masonry
