Imported into the U.S. by Lincoln Mercury and serviced at Lincoln Mercury dealers.The car was imported from 1971-1974 although production continued in Europe until 1992. I am reading they were sold until 1975. The last year of production cars sold in the U.S. legally were 1974 models.

Equipped with a mid-mounted 351 Cleveland Engine producing 300 HP. The car featured a 5 speed gated shifter mounted to a ZF transaxle.

The body was designed by the Italian firm “Ghia”

Over 7,000 were produced in total from 1971-1992

I had a 1974 back in 1976. It was fun until it was hit while parked and getting it fixed took 11 months.
