After a little over a
After a little over a year since I trekked beneath the Matterhorn in the summer, I’m back to visit Matterhorn in the snow! During this winter visit, I explored the Matterhorn from Gornergrat, Riffelsee, Rothorn, Fluhalp, Sunnega, and Schwarzsee via snowshoe, and crossed the glacier to the Italian side. The winter landscape is completely different from the summer, it was pure and simple with snow. These are the highlights of my winter journey to the Matterhorn.
