Rheem Water Heater Pilot Light Issue

I have found many folks on the internet complaining of issues with Rheem water heaters produced in the last few year, with most failing around the 12 month mark. I have had no luck contacting their warranty call center, other than waiting for an hour only to be disconnected. I have tried emailing, web site contact and social media. No one seems to be able to help with this issue. No wait time and she was able to help. I explained my issue, she told me she was sending my order to "the warehouse" and they would send me an email when it shipped. I thought sure they will. Before the end of the day, I had a FedEx tracking number and an invoice for what appears to be the correct gas control valve. I will update once received. Of course, this was after 5 days of "a technician should be with you in the next 59 minutes", daily emails, daily social media contacts and a lot of frustrations.
