Please join me as I metal detect an old farm property and search for coins, relics, bottles and whatever other types of treasure that may be underfoot. I concentrate on excavating a test hole in what appears to be a very old trash midden and then metal detecting the excavated dirt. In the video I give out tips and tricks on what to look for and how to excavate these sometimes VERY productive old home trash pits and mounds.
