2009 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L- Misfire (Flashing Check Engine Light) w/o using a Scantool

09 vw jetta with a 2.5 liter engine, customer complaint is the veh runs rough and has a flashing check engine light which indicates a severe misfire, in this video I will show you how to identify which cylinder is misfiring using the cyl drop test method and how to identify what is causing the misfire without a scantool. I kept this video low tech (at first) to show you that you do not need the high expensive equipment all the time, how ever I did eventually pull out the scope.
