VIDEO DESCRIPTION: In this video, I challenged two random chess players on Lichess in order to try out some interesting traps that I covered in my last tutorial video on the King's Gambit that I have linked above. I believe that the best way to learn a new chess opening is by learning some of the beautiful traps that exist in that particular opening, which is true for beginners and intermediate-level players. The King's Gambit is one of the oldest-known chess openings, bringing to mind the “Romantic Era” of chess. The idea behind the King’s Gambit is: White sacrifices a pawn to get counterplay and an advantage in development. Black may or may not accept the pawn sacrifice, and this changes the character of the game. Enjoy!
