Crochet Hand Puppet Part 1/3 - Base of Puppet

Welcome to Wow! Crochet Designs, in today's tutorial we will be making  the puppet base for our 3 Halloween Puppets.
The colour combination of the first puppet base was chosen by one of our lovely subscribers; Gwendalynn, during our 'Live Antics' on Saturday's live. (10.00am Melbourne Australia time)

50 x 60 grams of 8ply/Dk/3 weight wool, or acrylic
1 x 4mm crochet hook

This pattern is for intermediate and advanced crocheters. :D

For this tutorial you will need to know how to do a slip knot, a chain stitch,  single crochet and half double.
