2nd gen Cummins power steering system bleed procedure

today I'm covering how to properly bleed the power steering system on a 1994 to 2002 Dodge Cummins Truck. I believe this will also work for any of the Rams of that year as well as 1st Gen trucks as well. if you installed a new power steering pump or any other major component in the system, and it all the sudden does not work or still is not working please try this. I found this out when I replaced my power steering pump after failure and when I went to go and started up to test it it seemed as though I still had no power steering and no hydroboost. I found a video on YouTube explaining that you need to bleed the system which makes sense because it's a hydraulic system. after I bled my power steering system, all of my functions were back to normal and my new power steering pump was functioning properly. #femalemechanic #dieselmechanic #thedieselqueen #diesel #mechanic #secondgendodge
