Doogee has you covered with its Smini model which packs a compact 4.5-inch QHD+ display (yes, QHD+) and weighs in at a svelte 155g. Powered by MediaTek's Helio G99 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storages, the Smini also features a 3,000mAh battery with 18W charging. There's even a handy display on the rear panel that shows battery level and other information so you don't need to unlock the main display. In terms of protection, the Smini might be small in stature but it's still as rugged as its larger rivals thanks to IP68 water and dust resistance and MIL-STD-810H drop protection. Other notable features include NFC and a dual rear camera setup. You can order the Doogee Smini for $210/$270 depending on if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber. Blackview BV8900 With its ability to capture detailed thermal images and night vision capabilities, the Blackview BV8900 is handy on many kinds of job sites. Its FLIR camera lets you scan scenes to help locate items, inspect equipment, detect leaks, and even find people, while its night mode takes clear shots in low light. In addition to its thermal imaging and night vision capabilities, this phone boasts a 64MP main camera that takes clear shots. This phone boasts 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, so slowdowns and hiccups will not be a concern. Furthermore, it can be immersed up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and survive temperatures ranging from -22 °F to 140 °F. Plus, the battery is huge at 10,000 mAh, and that means it can last for up to 70 hours during calls. You do not get 5G support with this phone, and it tops out at Android 13 preinstalled, but that is not unexpected for rugged phones. It's also quite heavy at 1.65 lbs. Still, it provides great thermal imaging capabilities and rugged performance. Ulefone Armor 24 When customers see products that are the Armor 22 and Armor 24, many will perceive that the 24 is a next-generation design. The reality is that the Armor 24 is mostly a portly Armor 22, and the extra poundage is primarily the addition of a massive 22000mAh battery to a remarkably similar platform. That said, the Armor 24 doesn’t cost substantially more and has a better front-facing camera, 12GB of RAM, and an LED lighting array that can temporarily blind you. The downside to choosing this over the more agile Armor 22 is that at nearly 650g, this is a hefty lump of electronics that doesn’t easily fit into any pocket. For those hiking or just trying to travel light, the Armor 24 is one of the heavier devices we’ve tested, though not the very heaviest. Built around the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, this phone has a decent user experience, though it can’t compete with phones that use the Meditek Dimensity chips or any of the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 or 8 hardware. For the low asking price, Ulefone has packed this device with features, and it represents excellent value for money. However, it might not be your first choice for carrying up a mountain or through a jungle. =============================== Hi there!
