There are easy ways to fix a leaky hose faucet. Today on Bru builds, I’m going to show you how to repair or replace a hose bib that has been leaking.
There are a few options for fixing a leaky hose bib. You can either replace the hose bib entirely or try to repair the part that is leaking.
Both options are fairly simple, it would depend on how much time you have to fiddle with things or spend a bit more money and be done. Just know that you will have to leave the water off until the project is completed. So, unless you have a good supply of rubber valve stem washers, you might find yourself running off to the hardware store to find the correct size rubber washer. If that is the case, then it probably makes more sense, to just put in a new hose bib.
Tools and Items needed: a new hose bib, Teflon tape, valve stem rubber washers, a pipe wrench, an adjustable wrench and a Phillips screwdriver.
