The Difference Between Cleaning, Sanitizing, and Disinfecting

Cleaning and disinfecting are two different procedures to reduce the amount of germs in your facility. Cleaning removes soils from surfaces and objects.  Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces and objects. Cleaning and disinfecting must be done together to effectively remove and kill germs.
