Ju-On: The Curse 1 and 2 (2000)
Ju=On: The Curse is the original version released straight to VHS. It includes scenes and storylines that were remade in The Grudge, the American remake. The next movie in the Ju-On series is a direct sequel and a remake.
Kyoko, a woman sensitive to spirits, is asked by her brother to check out a house with a bad history that he's trying to sell, but the house's bad history might be too much for any new tenants to handle.
In the original cut, Ju-On: The Curse 1 doesn't introduce Kyoko until the very end, and Ju-On: The Curse 2 uses about 45 minutes of footage from the end of part one, so to fix it I moved Kyoko to the very beginning and I took out any repeated scenes. I also tried to cut scenes that linger a little too long and become kind of comedic.
