The Volkswagen Vento is a C-segment sedan that is based on the Polo. It was launched in India in 2010 and after that it has been getting a lot of updates every now and then. However, the new generation of the Vento hasn't arrived in India and its launch is unclear. The current Vento is offered with a choice of 3 engines - 1.6 MPI, 1.5 TDI and 1.2 TSI and it is offered with both manual as well as automatic transmission options.
