Fender has reissued my favorite
Fender has reissued my favorite guitar ever! The HM (Heavy Metal) Strat is a guitar made for a short time in the 80's that was meant to compete with shredders like Kramer and Charvel! The guitars cam in bright colors, with crazy nice hardware with some strange specs. They did not sell well and were discontinued in 1992.
At NAMM 2020 Fender announced they are reissuing them in a short run of 300. I own an original from 1989 therefor was extremely excited about this announcement! However after digging in I found some problems with the reissue that I think you should consider before pulling the trigger. They are not 100% replicas. What do you guys think of these reissues?!
