Some MMA fighters have spoken
Some MMA fighters have spoken out against Wing Chun style kicks to the knee.
They say that Wing Chun kicks and those similar to them such as the oblique kick, stomping push kick and side kick to the knee are too dangerous for MMA competition.
Both Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Stephen “”Wonderboy” Thompson have stayed that they these kicks to the knee should not be legal.
Others say that these kicks are legitimate.
One person referenced these kick and said that “this is how the small person can overcome a bigger opponent”.
